While hybrid working took the lead, fully remote work was the next popular choice, with over a quarter of respondents favoring it. Surprisingly, only 20% preferred being office-based full-time, and a mere 6% chose working while traveling as their ideal scenario.
Productivity and Perception in Remote Work
The study also delved into productivity perceptions related to remote work. While 36% reported feeling more productive at home than in the office, a significant 63% felt pressured to prove their work ethic more when working remotely. This pressure could stem from social media-induced negative perceptions, as 18% of respondents labeled remote workers as lazy.

Talkative colleagues emerged as the top distraction, identified by 23% of the participants. This issue seems more prevalent among hybrid and office workers. Other major distractions include internet issues, mobile phones, excessive emails, too many meetings, and social media use.

A concerning finding was that 72% of respondents stated their current work setup does not meet Display Screen Equipment (DSE) health and safety standards. This lack of compliance not only poses physical risks but also contributes to decreased productivity.
